Electrician in Mount Vista, WA
Residential and commercial electrical work, with owner-led service from Tane Electric.
Electrical service for Mount Vista homes and businesses
Mount Vista is a north Clark County community near the Washington State University Vancouver campus. The area connects with Salmon Creek and the I-5 and I-205 corridors. Both Ridgefield and Vancouver mailing addresses occur in the wider area, so the mailing city alone may not describe the neighborhood residents use.
Neighborhoods & community
Mount Vista neighborhood
Vista Meadows Neighborhood Park on NE 29th Avenue is a useful neighborhood reference. Include Mount Vista with your property address when the mailing city otherwise makes the location seem farther north or south.
WSU Vancouver surroundings
The university campus is a familiar landmark in this part of Clark County. Nearby residential addresses and adjoining Salmon Creek areas can use different neighborhood names, even when they are only a short drive apart.

Prepare for home charging or new equipment
For a Mount Vista EV charging project, share the vehicle, charger information, and where the vehicle parks. A hardwired unit and an outlet-based setup should be discussed around the equipment you intend to use. The same principle applies to other new equipment: explain the use and location before assuming which circuit or panel changes are needed. Tane Electric can discuss the installation alongside lighting, outlets, or other improvements on your list.
Planning your Mount Vista project
Send the Mount Vista street address and its mailing city. For charging or equipment work, include product specifications and the proposed location. Mention whether the parking space is attached to the home or separate, and explain any access arrangements that affect the estimate.

Common mailing ZIP codes associated with Mount Vista are 98642, 98686. ZIP codes follow postal delivery areas and may extend beyond neighborhood boundaries. Confirm the code for your specific street address.
Do you work on homes and businesses in Mount Vista?
Yes. Tane Electric provides residential and commercial electrical service. Tell us the property type and the work you need so we can discuss the right scope.
Do I need an electrical permit?
Most electrical work requires a permit, with specific exceptions. Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) issues electrical permits and performs inspections for Mount Vista properties in unincorporated areas. Electrical permits are separate from city or county building permits. Jurisdiction follows the actual property location, so confirm city boundaries rather than relying on a mailing address or community name. View Permits and Inspections →
